Vehicle Parking

There are three vehicle entrances to Switchyard Park, with total parking for 402 vehicles.

• Walnut Street entrance, on the east side of Switchyard Park: 43 vehicle parking spaces including 4 designated handicap spaces. The closest bicycle parking is 661 feet northwest of the Walnut Street entrance along the multiuse trail, or behind the main performance stage southwest of the Walnut Street entrance.
• Grimes Lane entrance, on the north end of Switchyard Park: 114 vehicle parking spaces including 12 designated handicap spaces. The closest bicycle parking is at the basketball court, or at the community garden.
• Rogers Street entrance, on the west side of Switchyard Park: 154 vehicle parking spaces in the main lot, and an additional 91 spaces in the overflow lot north of the Rogers Street entrance. There are 12 designated handicap parking spaces near the Pavilion, and four EV charging stations near the Pavilion. The closest bicycle parking is south of the Pavilion.

Other ways to get to Switchyard Park:

• Bloomington Transit maps and routes at https://bloomingtontransit.com/
• Park at the Fourth Street Parking Garage, and walk 1 1/2 blocks west to the B-Line Trail. Go south on the B-Line for approximately 1.4 miles to the main stage in the center of Switchyard Park.
• Park at the Morton Street Parking Garage on Morton Street between 6th and 7th Streets. Walk 1/2 block west to the B-Line Trail, then go south on the B-Line for approximately 1.6 miles to the main stage in the center of the park.
• Pick up the B-Line Trail west of the Convention Center, and walk or bike the B-Line Trail approximately 1.24 miles south to the main stage in the center of Switchyard Park.
